The table represents a metaphor for the past, the present and the future. | From our common passion for refined gastronomy and the classy reception of guests my wife and I have drawn a new concept: Les Tables d’Amis. A gathering of friends around the table to share pleasant moments and enjoy new sensations. | There is more to ‘Les Tables d’Amis’, however, than merely enjoying the art of cooking. From my ten-year-old experience as an organizer of Vlerick Alumni activities I have learned that there is a need for micro-events. Room for small-scale and intimate meetings, where the density of contacts prevails.. Les Tables d’Amis aims at being a crossing where business people, professionals from the cultural scène, members of the authority or scientists learn to know and appreciate each other and who knows, may help to build a sustainable world. |In the list of my 10 words, the tenth word is: “rakelingen”.
